About us
The Ivorian government, banks and economic operators, in general have long been expressing the need for Côte d’Ivoire to equip itself with entities whose proven professionalism and competence are unambiguous in terms of profitability, with a view to shaking off the economic yoke and striving for excellence in our growth sectors.
This legitimate aspiration for nationals is emerging gradually and surely.
In order to meet this challenge, and as part of a search for a more active development and integration pole, after twenty-three (23) years of sincere, faithful and fair duties at SOCOPAO (SOCIETE DES PORTS DE L’AFRIQUE DE L’OUEST) which became SDV (SCAC DEMAS VIELJEUX) then GROUPE BOLLORE and finally AFRICA LOGISTIC, which is in the process of taking on a new name following its takeover by a new group, we, the Ivorian group, have resolved to order destiny.
Driven as we are by the desire to contribute to the achievement of this credibility and to conduct a participative and professional referral, Ivorians have decided to create entities specialized in the activities of handling (management), stevedoring, transport, transit, consignment, and now financing, agricultural industrialization, housing construction, hotels, more, to satisfy the financing of projects from the NDP of Côte d’Ivoire.
We are the intermediary for a consortium of American banks: IIB-DG (International Investment Bank – Development Group).
Our concern is not to emerge from the competition of prestige, but to promote the path of competence and know-how. This objective can only be achieved through the credibility of services, mastery of techniques, solid experience and rigorous management of the tasks inherent in elected sectors.
It is with this in mind that the Group is committed to a quality approach, convinced that it is important to bring a touch of professionalism to all areas of the business in order to earn the trust of its customers and contribute to the development of our country.

Working in close collaboration with its customers, EMADIA’s clients paid nearly one billion CFA francs in customs duties to the State, while the PORT AUTONOME d’ABIDJAN (P.A.A.) and the port’s dockworkers benefited from around 350 million CFA francs.
This enabled EMADIA to transform itself from an S.A.R.L. into a S. A. since November 23, 2011, with a capital of 250,000,000 CFA francs, and to obtain approval for its first vocation as a stevedore, carrier and consignee on March 13, 2012 under no. 375.
OUR DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS
THE ANACARDE
The Ivorian state, banks and economic operators in general have long been expressing the need for Côte d’Ivoire to equip itself with entities whose proven professionalism and competence leave no room for ambiguity in terms of profitability, with a view to shaking off the economic yoke and tending towards excellence in our development sectors.
This legitimate aspiration for nationals is gradually emerging.
In order to meet this challenge, and as part of a search for a more active development and integration pole, after twenty-three (23) years of sincere, faithful and fair duties at SOCOPAO (SOCIETE DES PORTS DE L’AFRIQUE DE L’OUEST) which became SDV (SCAC DEMAS VIELJEUX) then GROUPE BOLLORE and finally AFRICA LOGISTIC, which is in the process of taking on a new name following the approach of a new group,
we have decided to take control of our destiny, driven as we are by the desire to contribute to the achievement of this credibility, and to conduct a participative and professional referral of an Ivorian to decide to create entities specialized in the activities of handling (management), stevedoring, transport, and now in financing, agricultural industrialization, housing and hotel construction, plus the financing of projects arising from Côte d’Ivoire’s NDP, using the BOT or BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, Transfer) mode, a variant of PPP.
Our concern is not to emerge from the competition of prestige, but to promote the path of competence and know-how. This objective can only be achieved through the credibility of our services, our mastery of techniques, the solidity of our experience and our rigorous management of the tasks inherent in our chosen sectors.
It is in this spirit of openness that the Group is committed to a quality approach, convinced that it is important to bring a touch of professionalism to all areas of the business in order to earn the trust of our customers and contribute to the development of our country.
Indeed, as part of the development and expansion of its activities, it seemed appropriate for EMADIA to take an interest in the cashew nut industry.
It’s not enough for us to point out that Côte d’Ivoire is the world’s leading producer of cashew nuts, for us to become infatuated.
Our motivations are based more on the fact that the promoter of EMADIA benefits from the providential state of being from a region that boasts a cultivation area producing the best quality cashew nuts on the territory. This renowned production site, the Bondoukou region (400 km from Abidjan), has always been undisputedly at the forefront of cashew nut quality.
Every year, Hindu, French, Indonesian and Singaporean buyers compete for Bondoukou nuts. Undeniable proof that Bondoukou cashew nuts are of excellent quality.
In addition, EMADIA has been involved in the handling, transport, inventory management and third-party holding of products (especially rice) for over 40 (forty) years.
Finally, EMADIA maintains a privileged and permanent relationship with one of its external collaborators, who is a broker-buyer having visited all the collection and purchasing centers (bord-champs) in the region during his 28 years of experience in this field. He reports to more than nine (9) experienced trackers.
Given all these advantages, it’s clear that once Emadia has the financial and material resources it needs, it can easily negotiate and conclude successful cashew nut campaigns.
In its first steps, EMADIA will concentrate on the following
the conditions of the incoterm of : FBC or FBT (Free on Board
Board Truck).
Later, EMADIA will show its willingness to embrace the end-to-end process, from cashew tree planting to delivery of the finished or semi-finished product abroad.
What’s more, EMADIA plans to go even further by setting up a cashew nut shelling and juice production plant in Bondoukou.
In view of the good results expected, EMADIA could be interested in the cotton sector.
EMADIA FINANCING (FEELING)
A project finance research unit has been is envisaged by EMADIA.and subtitled EMADIA FEELING. Since 2017, EMADIA has been taking steps in this direction.
To this end, EMADIA, as the ”MANDATE” documents attest, has just been quoted through its managing director representative-consultant on behalf of a consortium of American banks called: IIB-DG INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT BANK – DEVELOPMENT GROUP based in Washington, DC.
The group has all the operational skills and financial capacity to help countries around the world, and particularly African countries, banking institutions, SMEs, SMIs and other economic operators, by providing substantial financing support for their development projects and programs.
This American omnium has carried out mega-projects in Africa worth over seven (7) billion US dollars in the fields of infrastructure, energy, airports, ports, power, railroads, freeways and housing.
The group finances PPP / BOT projects and development projects in health, education, agriculture, environment and biodiversity, subject to guarantees on very advantageous terms that are better than the concession conditions of the PTFs; IDA / World Bank, ADB.
Among the members of the Executive Board is Mr. Herman Cohen, former collaborator of George Bush President (father) of the Republic of the USA, former World Bank expert, former US ambassador to Senegal.
IIB Development Group (IIB-DG), as a team, IIB-DG is able to provide all the revolutionary and affordable solutions for road infrastructure using not only ordinary bitumen, but also natural resources of unimaginable strength, building construction, drilling, housing and power generation projects.
